My Profile
I am an engineer with a PhD in an engineering discipline, earned in 2012 at TU Darmstadt in Germany. I have several years of experience as an algorithm developer and software engineer, with a focus on signal processing, computer vision, and real-time localization systems in industrial environments.
My professional work has included:
Developing and improving algorithms for visual RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems) used with industrial assembly tools, including sensor fusion, image/signal processing, and robustness in real-world factory conditions.
Working extensively with Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, particularly for tasks involving image and signal analysis.
Building and integrating software components into existing systems, using tools like Docker and REST APIs, and collaborating closely with other engineers and stakeholders.
Creating technical documentation, specifications, and design notes to support complex system development and maintenance.
Recently, I have been transitioning towards AI engineering, with a focus on:
Applied AI and machine learning engineering, including modern deep learning approaches and practical AI integration into products.
AI orchestration and agent systems, including the integration of large language models into workflows and automation platforms.
I am particularly interested in AI and machine learning for industrial applications, smart systems, and content automation, and I am actively updating my skill set to match current AI engineering practices.
